I am thinking about getting drag radials, because my tires are getting low on tread. What would be better for track use the Nitto 245/50/16 or the bf goodrich 255/50/16? Everyone always says to get the Nittos, but the bf goodrichs are wider and they are the same price. Also I am going to be using these tires all the time, not just at the track. Which one do you think will last longer and how many miles? Thanks

BF drag's are a stickier tire, they are much better for mostly track use and seldom street use.
I tried them on the street and they get so sticky they flick up every rock and stone into your car.
I run 245 50 16 nitto extreme drag radials.
These are more a street tire with a here and there track use. I drive back and forth to the track. I've driven to maryland from jersey, vermont from jersey and no problems here!!!!
I've driven w/ them in the rain and they are better than my street tires.
They are now the tires I use as a daily driver tire.
Go with nitto's!!!!Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
