• My very first run is my best...so far

I finally ran the bird for the first time at the track today. My very first run EVER, I ran a 15.227 at 89.35 mph. Out of five runs, that first run is my best..so far. My other four runs where 15.3s and one 15.5.

Unfortunately thats usually the case (first run being the best, no matter how much you test and tune after that, lol). Good times though! Did you run down the track on those 18s??

Nope, I took em off for the winter and put the stock 16s back on.

12second, what shot of NOS are you running? What shot is safer for a stock motor?

grr, why did i only run 17.011 on my first try... i think my car has a cold.

someone said that above 5200 rpms on a 3.4 had a power lose? like the peak output is between 47-52?

cuz i always shifted near 58. hehehe

yes that's true. My friend Will has a 3.4 and he shifts around 5 grand and can give my 3.8 a good run for it's money. I usually only put a car and a half on him.

and btw, good run shortdog273. Damn you, I lost by .019 to you. :D Why does everyone seem to do that to me! :( Maybe I personally need to lose some weight.

By the way, I ran that time before I got my whisper ram air and with the subs in the rear. A few more mods and I should be in the 14s.
