new best 1/8 mile mph

my 1/4 miles sucked, and ets also sucked, couldn't hook up for ****! 2.5 60 ft on nittos at 16 psi ?! :( the track sucked... but after studying my dyno graphs I found better shift points and look at my mph on the 1/8 mile:
its not a fluke, look how many runs I made...

pretty consistant, on my best 1/4 run my 1/8 mile mph was only 68 mph :eek:

I need to hook up better, damn Im surprised at how well the car is doing for the situation its in right now lol...

I know nothing about nittos, but is 16 psi too low?

i know you can get to a point where the tire actually gets less surface area with low PSI, the middle of the tire goes up and you are basically running on the sidewalls. jsut a thougt.

jsut curious, did you remove the front sway bar?

I don't know if 16 is too low? I tried 20, spun forever... 16 it bogged a little, that track pissed me off so bad..it sucks.

yea I removed the sway bar, didn't make any difference at all at the track because I can't hook up worth a crap, on the street though, even on light take offs the nose of the car lifts up alot lol, I could actually drive around with it like this fine.

Jsut it feels a little funny when you get hard on it.

If you plan on keeping it unhooked might as well remove it, only 4 more bolts. I jsut got all my poly bushings today, jsut waiting for STB and sway bars. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I am jsut curious how are you easing the clutch out? Maybe you need ot feather it more. The centerforce dual friction might be causing too much grip. I launch hard but i have a oem replacement, so slippage is expected.

With 200 lbs. of weights in the turnk and a full tank of gas I couldn't get the wheels to spin, might try that [img]smile.gif[/img]
