  • 13 Second V6..... All Motor

    Thursday..
    Fill up with gas, way too much.. I'll never burn it in time.
    Friday night..
    I install rear 00 WS6 take-off shocks.. my stockers were toast.
    I install a new set of Taylor wires and NGK plugs. I do plug changes every 5K or so.

    Saturday morning..
    I pull the passanger seat out w/ sub & amp.
    I-Pipe and muffler come off, downpipe goes on.
    Drags and Skinnies go on the car.

    Saturday afternoon..
    Stop by Dom's house, he has fuel issues.
    Hit up bounna beef... mmmm gooood.

    Saturday, 4pm..
    Meet up with local club guys at oasis.. start cruise down to track.

    Saturday, 6pm..
    The event begins.

    My car is so out of tune, *sigh*.. Once again, I tell my friends, they are not closing the track until I hit 13's...

    Awwww yea!

    I hit A #... a # I can live with.

    I didn't dead hook once. I even lowered the tire pressure on my 15x8's to 18psi. Still didn't hook.

    With DECENT tuning and actually hooking the car, I know I can hit a 13.6@98 on a 1.7 60'.

    My o2's fluctuated so much during the night and the max timing advance I ever saw @WOT was 20.

    For now I'm just going to chill and work on PCM hacking. James will run some #'s and he should be happy with the car. I'm not too worried though.. I have a plan. The day I hit 12.3, the best I could do on motor was 14.5.. I am now .7 faster just motor. I will be patient with the spray though. I'll probably do it in the fall.

    For now though, I think I'm just going to finally relax a little with the car..

    O yea, there were plenty of witnesses.

            congrats man. i knew i would come to the message board in the next couple weekends and read that.
            i was swimming in the carribean. animals were hiding behind the rocks except for the little fish, but they told me the squid\'s trying to talk to me. oink, oink. where is my mind?
