• G-tech numbers

I tested my car with a G-tech and I did 0-60 in 8.1s, and the 1/4 in 16.49@86.3mph
Do those numbers match? If they do then I should run at least a 16.1-16.2 at the track due to better traction  . Anyone with some G-tech times?

MPH way too high...rest looks about right...and maybe up that 0-60 to an 8.7-8.8. 1/4mi time is rather accurate tho.

All g-tech mph's are usually +4 of what you would normally run at a track.

As for times. Most people get w/in a few 10ths slower on the track than what they did on the g-tech.

My best g-tech was 15.54, while my best track was 15.67.

Yea, I think they are worth it if you split it with ppl. My friends and I got one, and paid $27 each, so not too much of a loss. They're fun to play with, but after you've tested your car a hundred times, you'll get bored with it, but that's ok cuz you didn't spend a lot of money on it.

Very true. They're useful for testing & tunning w/ new modds, but eventually i needed actually track #'s. Check the forsale boards, i sold mine for like $70. awhile back.

proves my point ... i have a 2.8 and weigh 2700-3000 w/ me and excess weight ... i run a 16.4 w/ full interior and spare and a tool box ... he runs a 16.4 with a heavier car and a bigger engine .. you run a 16.2 w/ a lighter car and smaller engine ... all physics my friend ... not that i remember it all that much

:D

yea..i just like to brag how light my car is

..but then you can brag about having more horsepower. oh well..i can just drop another more powerful engine in my car :D and it will still be light.
