  • Finally got track times :D

Well, the first run wasn't great:
    r/t .971
    60 2.427
    330 6.675
    1/8 10.261
    MPH 69.54
    1000 13.285

    1/4 15.914
    MPH 83.95

I stalled it to about 1800 RPM, didn't have any wheel spin...

    Second run:

    R/T 1.249 :(
    60 2.230
    330 6.585
    1/8 10.036
    MPH 69.28
    1000 13.117

    1/4 15.755
    MPH 83.65

Stalled at about 2100 RPM's... But unfortunately I dialed in at 15.80 so I broke out, and was eliminated... But I'm happy that I finally have some times :D

    John

Edit: I fixed the typo on the first time...

you showed some good improvement. what was the temp like..how was the temp of the motor... did you do a burnout of any kind?

keep goin back to the track..BTW you trap speed is HORRIBLE..how did you only manage 83 MPH..you should trap higher stock.. :(

my suggestion..get everything out of your car before you go..ggo with about 1/4 tank of gas and when it gets a little cooler..o yeah is that BB triflo the 2.5 inch system? if so thats why you have no topend..switch the i pipe over to 3 inch and you will be amazed

      keep tryin..

fix your R/T (even tho it has nothing to do with your time). Go on the 3rd yellow, not the green. Also btw if it's atuo, launch between 1,700-2,000RPM and you'll get a good 60'.

It's an Auto, It was probably about high 60's out... But really humid considering that it was raining off an on (I was lucky to get 2 runs in) And I had a full tank of gas, with my stereo (Sub in the back, I didn't try and lighten the car up any) And I didn't do any burnout or anything, just pulled up and went :D

As far as my MPH... I though it was kinda low... My car has a lot of power off the line, but the top end really seems to have major suckage :( It seems to shift really slow (I have a TransGo that I still have to install) But I don't know if that will actually inprove that... Is there anything that I can do, or do I just need more power to raise that up?

          John

Also, my first time was 15.9... not 16.9 sorry for the typo...
