• Finally went to the track, here' s my times

I did 8 runs, 2 of which my buddy was along videotaping.

1st run
R/T 1.150
60' 2.341
330 6.461
1/8 9.918
MPH 71.25
1000 12.919
1/4 15.481
MPH 87.79

Best run
R/T .956
60' 2.200
330 6.310
1/8 9.768
MPH 71.18
1000 12.777
1/4 15.352
MPH 87.34

This was my first time to the track ever. I want to hit high 14's really badly.

Oh yes, I have a whisper lid, K&N filter, flowmaster 80 series with dual exhaust. I have 3.42 gears as well. That is about all I have done to the car. Would a computer chip help my 1/4 time at all?

Work on your RTs in you'll make the high 14s. Try to keep your car off as much as possible. I made the 14 mark after I got the ram air kit with premium gas and removing my subs.

i'm pretty certain that r/t's have no effect on your 1/4 time what-so-ever. put an intake and exhuast on it and you should be able to hit the 14's.

R/T's are only for bracket racing. For test/tune, reaction times dont mean a thing Sweet times! Give us some specs on ur car?!
