Dont waste your time with headers. Personally I would save up a couple hundred more and get the Supersixmotorsports power pack. Heads, cam, intake manifolds.
Get headers, they are great, they dropped .5 on my LT1, and while you are at it get a flowtech cut-out, that dropped another .2 ET, thats about 600 right there, and I was unaware they made heads/cam for the V6 but get that to afterwards then you will be real quick, or just get a NOS set-up...Another thing if you have an Auto, a High stall converter and some Drag Radials, Nitto or BFG it doesn't matter, with all that you can drop about a full second in ET, possibly more, maybe some rear end gears to, 3.73's if you have an auto like I think you do.

lsd, remove maf screen(on 98+ f-bodies), headers, 3" in/out high-flow cat., 1LE aluminum driveshaft. lsd for traction, remove maf screen for more hp/tq and throttle response, headers for more hp/tq and throttle response, same w/ cat, and driveshaft for more hp to the wheels, less weight, and quicker revs.

Without headers I dont see how you'll ever make full use of heads, cam, or a blower.

I don't think you're reading what I'm typing. I said NA engine. He doesn't have a blower. He doesn't even have heads or a cam. I was talking about 5hp not temps or plugs. I changed mine just fine last time with manifolds. I'm not going to pay $500 so I can change them a little faster. That's ridiculous. He can almost get a converter for that money. 5/10s or 0.5/10s. That's a tough decision.
yea...I'd say don't worry about the headers. If you really wanted to, I'd say just pick up some tubular manifolds that go on the new Camaro V6. That would be fine. I'd get the heads, 3angle valve job and cam from supersixmotorsports. The intake manifold can be p&p yourself. Also, a LSD with gears is a must.
Not sure if you have a automatic, but if you do, I would look into getting a torque converter also.
get headers, but not the CIA ones...pacesetter is coming out with some for the 3.8's for only what...200 bucks?
