You mean like not on public roads? That is not street racing then. Local tracks have street race nights when you run no clocks. I don't know how popular that is.

Yea thats kinda what I was talking about. SLC is just starting this kind of thing. May 17th will be the first time ever. Just wondering if its a big hit in other city's.

we have that here. It's held about once every month or two. It's a pretty big hit, but lately it's been overrun by rice. I've only been once or twice

I think they mean no open exhaust. No cutouts. Car cant have race exhaust because they are trying to make it a streetable street legal cars only race.

In San Diego we have a thing called "RACE LEGAL" about twice a month at the Stadium parking lot... so the tracks pretty similar to street. check it out http://www.racelegal.com , the cool thing is there is cash prizes too!
