Anything I should know? I will be going to the track for the first time on friday. All of my mods and the lack there of are in my sig. What should I expect? And remember. I am at 4,400 ft. elevation so I know it will be lots slower. I am hoping to scoot my way into the 15's. If I get a 16 second ET I will be pissed off. But a 15.999 is fine by me. THink its possible? This will be without the juice.

Dude you'll hit 15's np as long as you can drive that thing :D
I hit 15.939 bone stock with my whole stereo system in and 3.08 open rear! you shouldn't have a problem as long as you get a few runs and figure out how to launch!

On the street and on the track are two totally different worlds. I usually spin much easier on the track than the street. Don't be suprised if you pull a 2.7 60' or something like that on your first couple runs. However I think 15s will be easy for you.
Some tips:
Don't drive thru the water, go around it- I'm sure you've heard this before.
Don't do some spectacular burnout if you're on street tires, it will just make them slip.
While you're in the staging lanes, watch the tree and be familiar with how it works, and be familiar with how to properly stage (pull up slowly until the pre-stage light comes on, stop, inch forward until the stage light comes on, stop, get ready to launch).

Spin easier at the track? some reason I thought the track would be alittle sitckier. Roads are usually covered with dirt and such. Tracks probly have burnt rubber all over. I guess we will see. Thanks for all the tips. I will post with results. Any other tips for me?
Everyone says I will hit 15's. I want to do this with out the nitrous. And I live at 4,400 ft. elevation. Do you still think it to be possible with what I got?

After recalculating the altitude. I figure I will have to run a 15.1 @ sea level to run a 15.9 at my altitude of 4,400 ft. Do you still think a 15.9 is possible with what I have?

Remember this is at 4,400 ft. elevation, so they will look really slow.
R/T : 1.656, this was hard because the yellow lights were off, it went stage light, red, green, go!
60' : 2.204
1/4 : 16.051@84.90MPH
Not bad, I was hoping to get 15's but this is very close. I have recalculated it for the elevation and this is what I would run @ sealevel:
15.181@89.79MPH
So really its not all that bad. My car is fast its just at the wrong track.
Oh and this was without the nitrous. Next time I will be spraying.
