A guy had a WRX with a upgraded turbo runnin 18psi with intake and exhaust wanted to race me. I had a 98 Trans Am, so I said ok and we had the SAME exact R/T which was .562 and I ran a 13.07 at 104 and he ran a 13.19 at like 105. I won by like 3/4 of a car. The Trans Am just has exhaust, Sun Coast Raptor hood with airbox, 3500 stall converter, and a cutout. Plus I had a damn full tank of gas so I would have hit 12's N/A if it wasnt full. Oh well

the thing about the wrx is that it is all-wheel drive, meaning very little wheelspin off the line. on turbo'd motors, you can get lots of power just by adding intake, exhaust, wastegate, adj. fpr, and intercooler. besides it being a featherweight, I don't see the problem. just do more **** to the TA. maf sensor, tb, intake manifold, headers, shift kit.2001 Arctic White Firebird
T-Tops, 3.42 rear gear stock
Mods:K&N Air Filter,Whisper Air Induction Lid, maf screen removed, raised air box, Kumho Ecsta 712 255-50-ZR16 tires, BMR stb
Mods not installed yet: FTRA, SLP Lsd/Differential cover
Near Future Mods: HPP3, GMMG 3\" Exhaust , 1LE Swaybars, Transgo Shift Kit, MSD-DIS-4 w/ Accel Coil-Packs, Turquoise Blue Neon Underbody Kit, BMR Adj. Stock boost is about 12 PSI, they run a 14 flat stock is what ive heard so a 13.1 is pretty good. My friend has a WRX with a boost controller, blow off valve, turbo timer, full exhaust and intake on 23 PSI, That f*C*er is so fast. We are taking it out to the track tonight. I will let know what he runs.

yikes would have warned, you a decent amount of car WRXs at OSW are running low 13s, something you may want to keep an eye on. I would have been pretty nervous, racign a car that I do nto race consistantly. YOu should see what you can do to drop another .5 off your ET on your v6, just so you can tell your dad you can beat hime with a v6
Ugh... I have fond memories of taking the dad's car to OSW, spinning through first on first 3 runs, then getting only slight wheel spin in first on the last run to get the time posted in the sig, then the entire hydraulic system on the clutch crapped out on 408 the next day. Nothing like calling your dad up telling him, the clutch system went out on his car when it has less then 7k on the clock. Good thing he never found out I took it ot hte track
