Well as you guys know, i run 15.8 @ 85 at LACR(2700 ft above sea level) and my best 1/8 time was 10.2. well tonite i visited Irwindale speedway and man was it frikkin packed! Over 250 cars and only got to run ONE time..but i know my car isnt broke cuz i ran a 10.0 in the 1/8 on my first ever run at that track..with more practice, im sure i can hit 9.9s or even better. Altitude plays a HUGE difference in E.T and MPH. Too bad its only a 1/8 track ..anyways im really happy that my 10.0 was better than most 5.0 stangs and 95% of the ricers. One thing that was freaky was this Daewoo that ran 9.2 and almost beat my buddy Ricardo in his 99 SS..wasnt NOSed or anything.. Anyways, I want to know what you guys run in the 1/4 when you have 10.0 or similar 1/8s times? Thanks guys so much..! thanks..

BTW..this timeslip was against my buddy Mike in his 87 IROC 5.7 TPI..boy was he pissed =D

altitude does make a difference, but also so does attitude. you gotta show your car who's in charge. do NOT be scured to kick your car in the ace. my car gets rode hard and put up wet all the time. you must work it! ;) oh yeah, a 10.0 is about a 15.5. good job [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
