• This is why you dont want to race in the summertime!!

Well during the colder months i run 14.8s consistant. But tonite i went to the track and turned consistant 15.4s and 15.5s. The humity really stunk. I ran 2.2 60's and 9.9 and 10.0 1/8 mile times. This is why i say you never want to race in the summertime.

so you don't get your best e/t in the Summer time. big deal. the rest of the cars @ the track probably ran bad e/t's as well. stop running T&T for e/t's until colder weather days and run with us @ an event. more fun that way.

Glad I'm not the only one. Last time at the track my best time was a 15.4. The humidity was like 100% (it rained before I left) and my 60ft times where around 2.5

My best was a 15.4 on a humid day.... so now I'm heading to the track this Saturday since it will be in the lower 80s and low humidity hoping to run a 15.1, wouldn't mind breaking 14.9!

Oddly enough, I fixed my oil pressurre problems, but had a CAT problem, but sort of fixed it with a $20 fix from discount Auto. I can feel my car is not running as strong but I still hit a 15.9 in the hot humid weather, I was sweating bullets.

Add similar heat plus 80% humidity. my trakc is near some swamps, but far enough inland to not get any sort of ocean breeze like i used to get in south florida.
