Tonight, 80 degrees, 100% humidity.
Dry 85 shot, cia headers, borla 3" exhaust, stock plugs (with 76000 miles...) regapped to 44, not very precise maf readings due to porting issues...
Went from 15.7 @ 87mph with no mods a couple of months ago, to 14.3 @ 97mph.
Not too shabby. I was hoping for something between 14.1 to 13.9, and maybe even hitting 100mph. Still, I took off 1.4 seconds overall, so can't complain too much. With this hobby though, you always want more...
Still getting 2.2 60's, no matter about tire pressure (35 or 32), launch rpms (flash from idle, from 2000, from 2500), or running na vs nitrous. Practically no wheel spin, so it's not a suspension/hooking problem. Actually I can spin them easier by going 2/3 throttle than wot.
The headers and exhaust didn't seem to hurt the low end (looking at the 60 foot times before and after). And the nitrous isn't coming in quick enough to help it either.
Oh, and I loved beating the black 5.0 Mustang tonight on the last pass. By .3 :D
