• removing seats: I need to know ASAP

I removed my passenger and rear seats tonight and am going to the track tommorrow for the first time. I'm now wondering if for some reason you are required to have at all your seats in the car. Do any of the tracks you guys and gals race at require this? I need to know ASAP! Thanks for any and all help :D

I haven't seen any track events that make you keep your back seat in. I know one or two events wanted passenger seat in, so I guess that depends on the event. If it's test and tune type racing, probably doesn't matter.

You might need a helmet. That should be it.

Hell, gut your car, do whatever you want.

I'd also strongly recommend unbolting your sway bar bushings at least. Either unbolt the bushings and leaving the endlinks intact or take it all off.

Some events require 2 front seats, if the back seats are removed then it must be carpeted.
Just regular track nights, it doesn't matter about interior.
Take a look at some of the really fast cars, they usually are missing various interior parts

Alrighty then, thanks for all of the help. I know at this track you do not need a helmet unless you are running 8 sec passes (this is an 1/8 mile track) so I'm safe there, and everything is carpeted and exsposed bolts are covered up. Now its time to go get my car shined up and off to the track I go!! :D
