Ok well I'm going to Moroso tomorrow night in serach of 14s. I know it's possible with the mods I have done but I'm worried about weather/track conditions. Any ideas of EXACT tire pressure settings I should set each wheel to and what I could remove from the car besides the spare tire (I'm not removing the seats because that requires work ) Also I'm going to clean my K/N Filter (it's black as a mofo) and I just had a new fuel filter installed. Any other things I'm forgetting to do? Anything to cut some time off my runs.

its hot here in florida ice the intake, i use 2 bags.

don't forget to empty wndshield wahser fluid thats like 4 lbs. off weight on the nose

I slightly overinflate my fornt wheels for a makeshift "skinnies" in the fornt feel. As for tire pressure, depends on allot, I ran great times with 40 psi in the back, i have gone as low as 22 psi. I have no traction problems so I am going to keep it high.

low isn't neccesarily the best. If you go to low and you have stiff sidewalls on your tires then the middle of the tread will not be in contact with the ground.

the spare tire thing and low gas is also a good idea but i am not sure how far you are drivng to morrosso don't wanna get stranded do ya?

hey mustangeater, will you answer my question over in the kills section about 3.4l vs. 3.8l's. it's under the "acura integra" topic. i think the guy with the maro has almost the exact same mods as you do. heh, i'd appreciate it.

oh ya, and i guess while i'm here i can make a track prep suggestion =P i wouldn't worry about the tire pressure too much, eric (not going to call you mustangeater anymore heh) is right about that. i have gone out and done the thirty in the back and forty in the front and never gotten traction, but then once i put the 35 in all tires, i got great traction. i think it depends on the tires mainly. take weight out of your car if you can. back seats are simple to take out and then spare tire, and then you could even take out the passenger seat if you want. jeez, if ya wanna be extreme, take out AC compressor, radio, and glove box. but i don't think you'll be that extreme--let's hope not; i think only james is that extreme :D

let's say I had the WORST night ever. All I'll say is that my best 60' was a 2.2 :( and that my BEST time of the night equalled my previous WORSE ever. All I'll say is on one run I almost hit 16....leave it at that...I'm extremely disgusted.
