can really high humidity cause as much as a .5 sec difference in quarter mile compared to really low humidity? i've heard our cars just don't deal with humidity very well, true?

you are sucking "water" into the intake and to the cylinders so the air is damper, allowing for less of an explosion in the motor.
.5, i guess its possible, but seems kind high to me, my experience has been myab .2, sometimes .3 and my track is about 5 miles form a swamp, so i doubt it gets much more humid then that.

I saw a .6 and 5mph differnce when i went about a month ago.
