poor track times

Went to cecil county last night and made 4 runs
The temps were 75-85, the humidity was probably pretty high but unknown.

My best was a 15.484 at 89.94 with a 60' of 2.351
I don't get it, last time I was there I was running 15.44 at 92 mph. Whats going on?

Before I went this time I got new lower profile tires, removed the MAF screen, fan mod and tested the IAT resitor mod with different resistors running high test gas.

Can I just blame it on the weather? I even had the car cooled down for about 30 min in between runs witht he fans blowing. I know my 60' times sucked but I was very dissappointed with my cars performance all together.

Also, how do lower profile tires affect trap speeds?

What do you guys reccomend to help me hook? Bigger rear sway bar? lower control arms?

remove front sway bar when @ the track.

I always have traction problems cause I don't have drag radials. But last night, at every launch, I would have a little wheel hop and then I'd hook.

Get LCA & PHR, this will solve your problem and also your reduce your 60 ft. It also takes practice but by the looks of it you know what you are doing. Goodluck. ;)

Johnny! Man i even went up there last nite too! i didnt get there till about 7 40 but i saw u leave. i missed the exit to the track and was in the right turn lane waiting to go down that bad road and watched u drive out :( You missed the camaro crash, 93-97 Camaro LT1. He was apparently leaking antifreeze and his backwheel hit it, over-counter steered and hit the front left against the wall, bounced off, hit back left, and spun into a 360 :( track was cleaning for like 45 mins but i got one run in, times are in another post
