i found the best thing for me was to stall it up as high as possible then go, but some cars are different so i would say go to the track and test it yourself, thats the best way to learn what is best for your car.
as far as what psi to run in your tires. i had my stock 235's at 40 psi at the track. i found that worked best for me, but like i said thats just my car though. i say just go to the track and have fun with your car.

Good weather will play one of the biggest roles when going for that best E.T. All cars are different, my car liked being tached up to about 2k and being flatfooted from there, resulting in alot of 2.0x 60's. You can't just jump in the car and expect a perfect launch. PRACTICE. I used to run my stock Eagle GA's with 40 psi in the fronts and 28-30 psi in the rears.
Good luck!!!! The key to quick times in our cars is in the 60' time.
With the 60' on stock suspension 2.1 is very possible, so aim for that as your goal. For me (experiment to find the best for you) I found keeping it in D, not (D), and stall the converter to about 1700-1800RPMs. When you're ready to go release the brake and ease into the gas, don't just pound the pedal (unless you want to spin tires) and you should get between 2.12 - 2.20 no doubt. Also make sure you have 3.42s and LSD.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
