• YES!!! Running 15's in the summer with 3.08's

Yes, I am finally running 15.8's and 15.9's constant in the summer. All I did was learn how to launch my car. I was stalling my car up to about 1800 and then taking off. Now I stall to about 1400-1500 and my 60ft and 1/4 times are in the 15's from before when I was only running low 16's. I'm so happy right now I can't explain it. Everone used to get on my case that I was only running 16's in the summer now I'm running 15's and many people never expected my car to run that with 3.08's.

Congrats! It only gets better. I remember I ran like a 15.8 in either september or october, then went back in the cold weather in december and ran a 15.4 all with my 3.08s! Keep it up!

Thanks guys! I'm really excited to see what my car will run in the winter this year. I mean like I said before this time last year my car was running low 16's at best. Now I have 3 runs in the summer with 15second times. The 1st was a 15.93@85.73mph (on August 16, 2002). The following Friday I ran a 15.93@85.69mph and then 15.89@85.80mph (on August 23, 2002). The best part are my 60ft on all the runs I have made this summer they are in the 2.28-2.29 range. In the past the best I had was the one in my signature a 2.36 60ft. The only thing that I have changed is my launch RPM. Now I have a question for you all. I really need to get the plugs and wires changed out. Which ones should I try to get so I don't loose any performance? In fact I would like to gain more HP. As if you all didn't already know that just thought I would add that I want to get a gain. Thanks again for the help and the replies.
