  • could a V6 f-body realistically run...

I was just looking at various times, and I was wondering if a v6 f-body (3.8l) with an A4 tranny, Y87, and LSD stock would run a low 15? and could the same thing without LSD but with i/e. what do you that could run? and lets say 75 degree day, with no humidity at sea level.

what do you consider low? if you have Y87, you shouldn't pull any lower than a 15.6. someone on here i think has hit a 15.1 stock. its very possible to hit anything in that range.

That 15.2 and your new time of 14.703 is very impressive with your mods and the climate you live in. What time of year did you run the 14.703?

even in my 3.4L stock I could run 15.6 or so during the summer time. One thing to keep in mind, like someone else said, was what climate, humidity, temperature, etc your racing at. It can change a lot. But stock like you said, with or without the options you mentioned you should be able to hit the low 15's fairly easy, depending also on the driver's ability as well.
