  • i need a better 60 ft.

my best was a 2.3--which is not too great considering my mods.

anyone have some suggestions as to how to get my 60ft's down to 2.1x? thx a lot.

btw, the conditions that night were 78 degrees out, 60% humidity, and a helluva lotta wind.

    thx.

Haha, you needed more gas in the tank, like I had...
    wait a minute, my 60' weren't any better,lol
I suggest going to HRP, that mod will work.

Next time we go I am reducing tire PSI.

EDIT: 3 second 60' owns you!!!!

Lower control arms help, same with a stiffer rear sway bar.

STB might stiffen up the car to help it get better traction off the launch.

Removing the front sway bar also will allow you to launch and get a little bit better weight transfer to the rear and allow you to launch harder.

Do you have an A4? Maybe a torque converter will be the best. Your exhasut is moving your torque peak up higher so you are not having as much power in the lower Rpms, and you can't laucnh it much higher due to it being a A4. Jsut a thought on that.

I have 3.4L and pull consistent 2.1X, and occasional 2.0XX and i have 3.42s and LSD. All on crappy Cooper Cobra 235/50/16

mods for better 60 ft. based on cost from least to most: lca's, rear swaybar, phr, lsd, gears, torque arm, torque converter, tires. easiest mods that will get u a lot more traction would be lca's, tires, lsd, and swaybar. u'd rather stick the launch and drop times that way than spin the tires w/ a higher stall converter or bigger gears. get the most outa what u have hp/tq wise on the car.
