Ok my friend has a dodge dakota RT completey stock. I think it is a 2000, or a 99. How well can my car face up to it? All I have a superturbo exhaust, the SLP CAI and a 180 thermo? Will I get raped????

not even close. They are heavy and aren't that fast. I think that our cars can/should take them. Check out the kill stories section and do a search there. There was a few people that asked and raced these trucks (and won).
lightning is a 12second truck. the dodge is more like a 15-16sec truck if i'm not mistaken
ps. it's not the 25th yet

I beat one, it was modded too. I don't know how much but I could see the exhaust and hear it.
A good friend of mine has a 99 R/T and he has the brain that gives like 30 HP or something and he also has exhaust with no cat. I think he has an intake but I'm not sure what else he has. I've been wanting to race him but he never gets around to it. He's always working or something like that. I think he'll beat me though, his sh!t sounds mean as f*ck. Someone road in my car once and had ridden in my friends and said mine was faster but that's not good enough for me soo....
One more thing, he thinks he's got like 330 HP or something like at the FLY, but it's more like 300-310.
My advice is to spin the tires as least as possible. Make sure you have enough air in your tires. That makes a big difference. You should win if his R/T is stock. OOOOHHH, another thing, since you have the SLP CAI which I have as well cut out a part of that plastic part underneath the filters, you don't live in a place where it rains a lot do you? I live in Southern Cali so I don't really have anything to worry about, but that gave me a lot more responce, especially up top.1 of a kind
Red 97 Camaro
Modifications:
SLP CAI, RK Sport Headers, Car Sound High Flow Cat, 3\" piping
3\" Steel driveshaft, SFC\'s, Panhard Rod, MAC Torque Arm
Manual Fan Switch
Best E/T:
60\' 2.152
330 6.271
1/8th 9.704
MPH 71.93

I have run some and seen some they are mid to high 16 seocnd trucks, they ahve the power jsut cannot get it ot the ground, however I did go up agianst a lowered one with big as slicks in the rear and it ran high 13s with Nitrous.
But like everyother Can I beat this guy thread, race him and find out, it could go either way, we have no idea how you run, and no idea how he runs.

I had an R/T before my car and they are not all they are cracked up to be. Stock they are mid to low 15sec trucks. A camaro with 3.42s and some mods can take one, not by much though.2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7 litres of raw power!!
Nothing but a 6!
Do you know for sure? John 3:18

My friend whipped one in his '98 Eclipse GSX, which ran a 15.2..he says they're slow...says mid to low 16s is what they run.

I lost to one in the 1/8 by about a tenth...and I can muster up a 15.0 in the 1/4, so one with a few mods can hit a 14 I'd say. I've just heard they're fun as hell to drive.
oh ya the one i raced had a blower, but he was running very low boost
