i just ran a 15.2 @ 95mph a week ago w/ 85 shot nitrous...........but.......i had like 3/4 tank of gas, my free ram air wouldnt turn around(it swivels), and something was fishy at the end of all 3 my runs, either b/c i was running in D(3) or b/c the car hit the speed limiter b/c the 3.73 gears, either way the car was jerking and the rpms were upper 5's at the very end.

im getting the aluminum 1pc. driveshaft and putting my 275/40/17's on the rear and my old stock rims/tires on the front....I warn you all: the 11" wide rims SUCK w/o a v8!!!!

I expect very high 14's on the 18th of oct....

southern94,how's the rebuild going?I was just surfing your page and it looks like you're doing it right Just wondering when you think it'll be done?I sometimes wish I still had my old 3.4 just to see how far I could have gotten it.I see the things you guys are doing (Didn't forget Tiago ) and I think about buying another 3.4 F-body for a daily driver.Keep up the good work and definately get that thing to the track when you're done!

The only run i ever did (just once cause i was afraid of killing the engine) was:

16.509 @ 84.75 mph.
my 60' time was 2.55 (i spun the tire (no posi yet)

if i can find my timeslip (its around here somewhere) ill pop up my 1/8th time and mph.

im hopin to have mid 15's soon, if not low 15's and then after that...well. lets just say im shootin lower than 14's ;)

My best pass was 16.38 @ 84.12mph

60' : 2.385
330': 6.780
1/8 : 10.505 @ 65.70 mph

This was before the Z/28 exhaust was added. The car had serious wheel hop and spinning right rear tire (no posi).

Best I can remember launch RPM was about 4000.

I'd like to see an NA 3.4 run 14's in a fourth gen F-body street car on pump gas - make me believe it's possible.

here is my best ET.

R/T .583
60' 2.214
330 6.472
1/8th 10.023
mph 69.30
1000 13.085
1/4 15.696
mph 86.22

Later that night I ran at 87.3 mph, but had had a 2.4 60', track prep was bad that night. Ran a 15.7XX on that run.

My best 60' is 2.078, and I average 2.1Xs

My 1/8ths are usually around the 10.1 mark.

and my 1/4s are generally 15.8s@85.5X mph

i have a new clutch, rebuilt tranny, and poly torque arm bushing. I think sometime this winter I can sqeeuze a 15.5XX out of her.

right now I am itching for a 1.9XX 60', and a 9.99X 1/8th mile
