About how much difference in the 1/4 between 15" rims and 16" rims?

If i had the stock 16x8 salad shooters with mickey thompson 26x10.5x16 et streets and i had 15" rims with 26x10.5x15 et sreets would there be a noticeable gain with the 15s over teh 16s, or would it only be maybe at most.1 in the 1/4? Would i have a better et with 26x11.5 over 26x10.5? And my last question is would i have a better 1/4 et with 26" or 28" or 30" would 28" and 30" be to big and just slow me down? I have just about every bolton with powerpack and nitrous express thanks

if u do use ET streets use 26/11.5-16 that is the most common size the only reason to go to a 15 inch rim would be so u can mount a taller tire with a bigger side wall but u wont be spinnin et streets i could sleep on them they are soft.

All things being equal the 15? wheel should be quicker. Wheel size can get funny but as long as you use the 2+1 formula your overall wheel/tire combo circumference should stay the same, whether it is a 15? or a 16? wheel. Say you have a 15? wheel with a low profile tire vs. a 16? wheel with a tall profile tire. Then you time SHOULD be different. I would also like to know the answer to this question: How does circumference effect your ¼ mile times? Another point is?.a 15x7 draglight will weigh less than a 16x7 draglight, figure in this is rotating mass, and your E.T. should be less with the 15? wheel. Also I would think that the circumference could make a difference in two ways, E.T, and Trap Speed. So I go back to the question I would like to have answered: How does the circumference of your wheel/tire combo affect your ¼ times?
