well my budy just got a 99 3.8 camaro bone stock,we raced i have a 3.4 with a rino muffler,and we were side by side the hole race,i thought i was going to beat him because i took him out of the hole,well then we traded cars just to see what will happen and it was the same thing,i heard that the 3.8 was really faster then the 3.4 whats up with that

nopt sure, I pulled a couple 16 flats in my dad's 5-speed, and have raced alot of mid 16 seocnd 3.8Ls.
Beaten a few too, I jsut think the 3.4L gets ragged on too much, It has a slight disadvangate but I don't thikn the gap is that large, generally when I go to the track, I beat most hte 3.8Ls I race infact i can only think of losing to 3 different 3.8Ls, joe Palaermo, guy that had a 14 seoncd v6, and SeanC97.
