vegas has approx. 2,000 ft. elevation above sea level. Maybe its that.

So just 2000 ft. of elevation is that bad, I'm kind of glad I wasn't able to bring my car. I wouldn't want to see the slow times that I would be running there even though my car is much faster then my friends. But I pretty much figured it out. He had all sorts of weight. He had like 2 or 3 tool boxes and not lite ones either, plus a bunch of other crap. He also had his spare tire and jack and what not. So the weight plus the elevation plus the car being practically stock equals as slow as a snail. I have heard a rule of thumb that every 100lbs is .10 of a sec in the 1/4. I don't know if that is true or not, but I do know that weight is a major factor.
