  • NEW BEST TIMES EVERYONE INSIDE!!!

I went to my Local track HRP and beautiful night.
I installed a RA ram air thing. since my last visit when I ran my 14.7 @ 88 with a 1.86 60 foot. That was with all seat stero and everything i could take out. I weightied 3410 that night

Well i went tonight and i weightied 3498 So i weightd quite a bit more cause i didnt take any weight out of the car.

    First new best:
    R/T: 1.039
    60' 1.925
    330' 5.9
    1/8th 9.261
    MPH 73.05
    1000 12.196
    1/4 14.683
    MPH 90.61

Then i waited let the car cool off and made my last pass of the night. Kinda pissed cause i was spinning when i hit it. But just means i can do better.

    R/T: .526
    60' 1.948
    330' 5.883
    1/8th 9.217
    MPH 73.62
    1000 12.130
    1/4 14.596
    MPH 91.28

Tell me what yall think and maybe some suggestions

Awesome times Kris. Is that the CPRA you put on? I'm lost on your weights also. 14.5 is great, get that bottle on and hit 12s dood.

What cam are you going to order?

          Scott

edit: Also if you dont have a lid already, get one, you will most likely pick up another .1 and 1mph with it over the free lid mod.

Why don't you flash the converter? It would hit much harder this way.

It must be pretty loose if you can brake toque it that high.. I can only brake torque mine to about 2600.

With an aftermakret converter.. you have to launch differently to take full advantage of it.. you can't just brake torque as high as possible..

Brake torque to about 1300 RPM's .. and then at the same time release the brake and go WOT.

The rpm's will shoot up to the flash point and the car will "hit"... everything will get shocked and if you hook you should launch much harder.

If you brake torque it up there you take the hit completely away.

yep, he's right. flash stall is higher than brake stall and you'll get more out of your converter if you do that. so basically, just stall at around 1300 rpms and floor it when the light hits the 2nd yellow :D
