This is with 3.08's and open diff. I took out my sub box with the 2 12's and I took out the back and passenger seats. I sprayed the intake with intake cleaner and I put half a bottle of N2O booster into half a tank of gas.

1st Run 3rd Run

60'ft 2.152 2.157
330 6.270 6.293
1/8 9.704 9.725
MPH 71.93 70.43

Previous best with all the wieght.

60'ft 2.178
330 6.382
1/8 9.894
MPH 70.31

With the weight down I fried the tires on my second and fourth runs. I let my friend run my fifth run, he pulled a low 9.8. It was the first time he had ever driven my car. I think it was the first time he had ever dragged because he was having major trouble with lining up for the tree. The announcer was talking smack to him. I was rollen. But he did okay. He's on the board by the way, C.Palmer is his name on here.

My mods are SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, 3" piping, 2 1/2" high flow cat, Borla rear section, 3" steel 1 piece driveshaft, BMR panhard rod, round SFC's.

So I gained .19. Almost 2 tents from like 75 lbs. On the first run I was actually spinning a little. I think I took off about as good as I can with an open spool rear end and the tires and wheels I have. I'll see next week.

I think he means that your car is running well if your 3.08 car is running similar numbers to his 3.42 car.

Very imprpessive tims for 3.08 open gear.

Weight reduction REALLY makes a difference.

Hey thanks Keith. That complement means something coming from you. And weight reduction is pretty killer. Durring two of the runs I made, you would have thought it was a burn out contest or something. After I made that first pass I got really happy and my foot didn't seem to want to feather the pedal too much.

By the way, this was at the famous Irwindale Speedway. I don't know if you've heard of it. If you watch Hot Rod T.V. you'll hear on there just about every show. My run was pretty good but it didn't compare anything to the JET car that was there.

That's me. Yeah, I'll see you Friday. If you want to race then plan on coming to Irwindale one of these Thursdays. You'll get pretty accurate times and you won't have to calculate for elevation. Oh, I don't street race. One, I can't risk it, and two my car doesn't hook up on the street.
