13.674@98.22 1/4

Weather: Upper 40's and SUnny
Humidity: 50%
Altitude: 667'
Time: 10:47am

Vehicle weight: ~2950lbs
Race weight: 3125

This was with about 24 degrees of timing and .920 O2's.. not very ideal. I'm currently running without knock sensors and didn't want to really push the car tuning wise.. The MAF T+ was off the car at this point. With timing and a little leaner fuel mixture I should pick up .1 to .2... I'm sure I could also race in some cooler weather as well for another .1..

I also have 4.10's and am crossing the traps at 5950 RPM's in third gear.. I also hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift this pass.. ALl but the last 2 passes I pegged the rev limiter.. some more than others.. I really didn't feel like tuning the car or playing with the Jet SCU.. I just wanted to run a # without breaking. This pass I pegged the rev limiter about twice.. not too bad.

Realistically, I think I can squeeze out a 13.4@100 NA this fall. Shifting at 6500 without hitting the rev limiter... ~5 more degrees of timing and O2's around .860 should really make a difference.

The car DEFINATELY has more in it.

I'm just very happy to finally be back in the groove. Once again all the hard work has paid off.. Big thanks to CamaroZach for helping me wrench and preparing the car for today.. He also ran a very impressive #.

Thanks to all the FirebirdV6 members as well.. We are one big family right. ;) THanks for the help and patience with some of my problem posts (Such as the knock sensors) and big thanks to all those who have been doing a lot of research recently and posting in the tech sections.. We are really getting some great discussions there. Keep up the good work!

So does anyone have a corvette servo, shift kit, or 00+ stock converter? If so - let me know!

Even though I ran crappy - Keith and Zach pulled the weight...today was AWESOME. Awesome guys!

Best run I saw: Old Camaro (year???) with a 8.5

Nice job guys!

I made my trip on friday night, since saturday rained all day...
pulled a 14.98 @ 91.5 :(
not a best, but a 2.14 60', spun somewhat after the 1-2 shift, hit 3rd early.
has 14.7x and a few more mph in it with the 3.23 gear in now.
LSD does wonders.

Zach, what mph did you pull?

Congrats Keith, I think that 13.4 with more timing is in the bag, not sure you will need to lean it out since you will need more fuel anyway... I also think more converter and maybe an ET Street with high shift points and you should hit 12.9's on motor. My old buddy Sean's Notch went 12.9@101mph at 2800 raceweight and he was a stick.

Also, if you want to spray this fall, say the word and we'll trailer you down to US41 so you hit that 11 second pass finally.

I should be out next weekend or so after I get the converter back and I should be running a bit better.
