For the last year ive been brake standing the tree and launching at like 1000-1200 rpm's . Ive been experiencing wheel hop and what I consider to be poor times. Is there a better way to lauch, ive heard of trans brake but I dont really understand what that is. Ive seen peeps on here running like 15.2 and 14.9 and such trans braking while with my mods the best I can pull is a 15.6 . Is trans brake hard on the tranny? how is it done?

Trans Brake is an addon to the valve body that when a button is pushed locks the trans in drive and reverse at the same time so it allows u to spin the RPM's up and no6t grind like doing a neutral-drive. It is basically only used in high end racing trans. Youd be better gettin a new converter so you could launch at a higher RPM.

I have a TH350 build up tranny with a 4400 transbrake it is mean if u want an ex. of a transbrake watch this video
