• Finally in the 15's

Not very happy about it though, especially after gears, jetchip, ignition, etc. Was expecting at least a 15.7xx. Old time was 16.1869 @ 86.42, new time is:

1.2167 Reaction
2.4167 60 FT
10.3121 1/8
69.54 1/8 MPH
15.9393 @ 85.81

This was only my second time going, and I only got 3 runs, but other drivers were complaining about the track. All I know is that I could not get traction for anything. They said no matter how much DHT(?) the lane crew sprayed that it wasn't gonna stick because of all of the rain we've been having and the cooler temp. It was somewhat breezy too. Oh well, that's Temple-Academy for ya.

Hey guys, my 60ft is about the same as it was before, but my mph is lower. What improved about the car if anything?

I'm kinda disappointed. :( But, I won't stop trying. :D

hey man, good work. conditions weren't good for tracking tonight. shoulda told me you were going, i might have gone up there.

edit: i don't see how there is anywhere in texas that someone with our mods can run 14s. your mods would get you into the 14s at hrp. my mods would get me into the 14s at hrp. seems like no matter when i go, or no matter which track i go to (seguin or temple) my times are ALWAYS in the mid 15 range. i don't get it.

We'll have to plan a trip and go somewhere. I'm planning on going back to Temple-Academy next week. It was just like last time. My times got slower and slower as I went along. Hell, I even ran a 16.50 tonight.

Man, they had top-fuel dragsters running tonight. They would just let them run the 1/8 though. This one dragster was running like 4.5xx. The other two were in the 5.xx range. It was insane! Junior dragsters were running too. Those little kids got skills! Oh, they announced it tonight. Test in tune is gonna go year-round now.

Mostly bad-a$$ed, seriously modified cars tonight. I got stomped, but not as bad as expected because of track conditions.

just work on you launches there buddy. You're doing 2.4 in an auto which no offense...really blows. You should be able to get it to a 2.0-2.1 on stock suspension. If you take off .3 there it should give you about .4 or so on the 1/4 which would get you real deep in the 15s.

edit: I see you said traction was bad...understandable...but you still should be getting better. I was pulling 2.2s on bald tires already so no excuses for you. ;) Plus w/your reaction time I can tell your a rookie at this...keep workin on it.

Hey, I'll take any advice that I can get. Yeah, I suck as a driver. I did get one reaction time of .7378 though. I didn't post it because alot of people say reaction time is nothing, work on your 60 ft.
