  • 1/4 mile got better, MPH dropped alot???

    after i replaced my alternator and got a 1pc aluminum driveshaft:

    my time went from 15.29 @ 94.5 MPH

    to 14.991 @ 90.5 MPH

    Nice time!! Is that a 3.8? Where'd you get the driveshaft?

      I bet your 60ft was probably at least 1.5 tenths better.

          Yep, that's the only way your mph will drop. A good launch usually equals less mph, but improved et.

            yeah, i think the mph is too high for that kind of time, unless there was a lot of wheel spin. the second time seems like something i would get. i hit 94 mph but my ET then was 14.4.
            6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

              those times are w/ a 3.4 liter, only half of what ive done is listed in my sig, but no internals.

              i dont have my slips, but im pretty sure the 60 foot times are like 2.4 on both.

              oh, and i spun a little on the good run.

                    yep, 85 shot.

                    i just checked my timeslips, all 10 or so of my runs for the whole season have 60 foots of 2.4 or 2.5.

                    makes no sense to me.
