I was up agianst a 02 Saleen Stang so I decided not to try on the R/t but Saleen ended up running a 15.975 with a 2.9 60', too bad I could have embarassed the hell out of him.

I spun at the line, and spun more then usual on the 1st-second shift, track prep wasn't its worst but still not any good, nothing new at Orlando Speed World.

I did get to see a 99+ nearly stock v6 stang run a 12.8 and blow half his motor on the track, spent 45 minutes cleaning it up.

It was all good fun, better then waht I expected on my first night at the track in like 3 months.

well I wasn't dying for the 15.5 tonight, I haven't been to the strip in awhile, and I thought I woudl have mroe problems launching the new clutch.

basically performance stuff I have

1LE tranny mount
3.42s and LSD
lt1 driveshaft
homemade CAI
crank underdrive pulley
crappy ACCEL 8mm universal wires with AC delco plugs.
$15 muffler from Discount Auto parts shelf.

I don't care for a 15.5 as much as I care for a 15.64999999 :D

Wait.... You said a saleen ran 15.9 i understand he was spinning but how did a nearly stock v6 stang run 12s? He had to have nitrous or charger, and that wouldnt be near stock.

the v6 stang had 125 shot, and slicks, but not much else.

well ok how about fastest from the factory N/A 3.4L?

That was a fellow nitrous'd 6. His name is Justin.
Hes goin turbo now since his motor is completely gone.

Those werent slicks either just 275 nittos mounted on stock 15's.

He's got a bit more than just a 125 shot and slicks.

I didn't see the car, I got there parked, about 5 min. later he ran and blew up holding up the track about 45 min. while they cleaned up fluids and whatever else he left on the track, the track peopel dumped his car outside the gates after closing time I jsut saw fat tires with what looked liked soft sidewalls assumed them to be slicks, jsut saying what I heard form people at the track.
