went back to the track cause i knew the car was alot faster than 15.0.. anyways went back this weekend..setup exaclty the same but 93 octane in hopes on less knock..

anyways car was consistant around 14.7

best run was

60' - 1.942
330 - 5.89
1/8 - 9.27 @ 73.14
1/4 - 14.65 @ 90.62

alot better than before..still need to work on the 60' maybe with no front sway bar and taking off the strut tower brace and possibly borrowing some skinnies i can do a 1.8

anyways converter feels alot better everytime i leave the track..going to take a few weeks off and then hit the track up again late december

what PSI...

Do a longer burnout.

ALso, when you burn out at the edge of the water box.. wait 4 seconds.. then let off the brake and carry the burnout for a few feeet.

Awesome times. Looks like the converter is getting alot better the more and more you drive on it.

Congrats.

i would roll through the water..spin a little bit..roll up a few feet then do a burnout..always got smoke and spun them for like 7-8 sec each time..let off the brake and rode the burnout out..staged and they dead hooked a few times..other times minimal wheel spin

psi was 26.. launched from 1700

EXCELLENT burnout technique, thats EXACTLY what I do...

Just drive AROUND the box and then back up into it.

Lower the tire psi for sure!!!

Try launching from 1400'ish

yeah i got tired of going around the burnout box and backing up..not much water down there anyways
wasnt carrying any water to the line..

im hoping taking some weight off front end will hit 1.8's
