DUDE!!

thats prolly why i havent posted my times. i bet i was the second actual owner of a complete SSM power pack after royce, but nobody cares about the power pack any more. nowadays it is all cams. i feel bad for tom, he is sitting on a gold mine. but kids nowadays just want to "throw in a cam" and do nothing else. i was very proud of my 14.45 when i got it and now i am expecting even better. since my valve guide broke my racing was kinda put on hold, but i am back. and i am back with a vengance and a camcorder!

          Nino, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR TIMES!!!

You are doing one heck of a great job representing the V6 community with your timeslips. Even if you are planning on running faster, please do submit your current best. I will always update the timeslips page to relect your current best as long as you submit it.. so submit!

Also, regarding tyrunt rolle, do a search.. I do believe we talked about it before when Tom (Bird Of Prey) brought it up..

He supposedly ran a 14.2.. didn't do a good job convincing me though.. I did accept his 14.4 though. THere is also a member of camaroz28 that claims to have ran a 14.4 NA also I believe.. he has yet to submit any evidence to me.

i cant submit my times cause i cant find my timeslip. i know what it is because of my old post when i ran it, but i have no physical proof unless you count my friend big john, and everybody else at the track that night. when i find my timeslip i will post it, though i do plan on hitting the track within the next 2-3 weeks. and hopefully i will have an even better timeslip then.

when it comes to submitting timeslips, shouldnt proof be required? who is to say i did not go up to houston raceway and run a 13.6? of course NOBODY would believe it, but what i am saying is, anybody can say anything on the net. especially when it comes down to hudredths of a second. any real dragster is going to want proof.

this is why i say, i truly expect to get a better time than 14.45 in the near future. but if i was to have posted that time (ET<14.45) even our own 12secV6 would not have known who i was and prolly not believed it. but with proof, even an unknown becomes known.

and for the guy on c28.com he is charlie rowe. i have known him over the net know for about 2 years. we used to be on the rksport message board. when i got my 14.45 he told me he was at 14.36 i believe. never saw a timeslip, but i believed him- those of us on rksport had no reason to lie. it was hard to believe being that his car is convertable, but why would he lie? and tyrunt rolle was also an rksport groupie. why would he lie? he is the one who made me want 14.2 so bad when i first started drag racing. i only hope that houston track brings me the same luck!

I'm not trying to offend you or anything but he did beat you to the punch back then. His 14.4 was accepted because nobody would believe his 14.2,plus it wasn't better than your current one back then. I felt sorry when he showed his slip and dyno at CZ8.com and everyone just bashed him.

Other than the V6 bashing that goes on at CZ8 by the V8's and the put down on Tyrunt, I simply left and later join this one. And walla, here we are again discussing his credability.

Last I heard he is driving an older Nissan Z.

Nino, _I_ believe you. I've known you for a while and have seen you post. I believe you would not falisify your submission just to look better. I do screen VERY well. For those I don't know I ask for great amounts of proof. IE: the 3.4 guy who claimed to go 15.2 NA and his only proof was his insistance to me that he is not lying... Those types of things I just cannot accept.

Thor, actually Mike Huff beat me to the punch. ;) He was king of the hill for a LONG time. I really wish he would reclaim the #1 spot again. He really deserves it. His car has been giving him nothing but problems lately though.

It is very possible that Ty did run 14.2.. but I need to be convinced.. I did not know him, nor did I have friends that new him. All he had was a timeslip. I just need a little more than that.

HOWEVER... I did compare his 14.2 timeslip to Mikes 14.4.. Ty had a .1 better 60' yet was .1 SLOWER than Mike at the 330', but then .1 faster at the 1/8th..

Trust me, I have many fast AN v6 timeslips to compare by so its easy for me to see a phony.

His slip IS a little fishy... but not impossible.. I just need more proof thats all.
