• ran the turbo bird.................

was a very long day lol.......

the best was

14.6 @ 98 mph :D
2.365 60 ft :(

1/8 mile was 9.696 at 77 mph

Im dissapointed in the ET , even though I completely expected it. My car has never hooked up at the track, and it still doesn't

the mph really impressed me, NA my best MPH was at 87 mph, now at 98 mph :D thats 11 mph from ONLY 6 PSI.

had many issues with the car during the day. first my belt tensioner broke so I had to install a new one, then one of my rubber connectors in the intake exploded, so I was NA after that :(
I had just replaced that bastard yesterday too.

I didn't really want to go to the track right now, but fell in temptation. I still don't have a bigger fuel pump on the car and on upper RPMs it gets major detonation and therefore knock retard from the lack of fuel :(

Im pretty confident that with better fuel supply and timing tuned in, I can break 100 mph traps with only 6 psi :D

and if it ever hooks up...13s

but anyway , that was my day.

Hmmm, yeah I would think/hope you could definately squeeze out a lot better of a time with that setup.

I didn't think I would need the new fuel pump for only 6psi but I bought it anyway.

woa , who said anythign about excuses...I do run drag radials, it never hooked even NA, just saying, it still didn't hook, 60 ft shows that.
and the knock problem, nothign I can do about that. I still run a stock fuel pump with a forced induction system, anyone that has tryed this will vouch, its not a good idea. lol

you don't have any excuses you are not running right. With launch just practice, fool!

I pity the foo who donn't practice his launches at the track!

Do you have a set of rims on street tires? if so i would say try them out one day maybe you are having problems playing with the nittos.

i'm impressed. 2.3 60ft is no killer 60ft, and i believe you were having traction issues.

but 14.6 is good for such a bad 60ft, if you had a 2.0x 60ft or less and the no-knock, that would be low 14s easily, and even possibly 13s on 6 psi.

12 psi--well, i bet you could hit 12s. you need to do it quickly though, we are all waiting in deep anticipation

No exuses? I would like to see you put a turbo on a 3.4L with it being a custom job and have it work perfect the first time at the track. He has nittos.

I didn't know there was a 75th Anniversary Firebird?

stop looking at the ET and rather the other factors that make it. 60' foot sucked the MPH was totally there even with it knocking. new fuel pump and that MPH would even be higher. tiago couldnt even hook NA on those tires down here cant imagine trying now with a turbo... that car has balls an will show its full potential

for 6psi that is awesome!

Now shift that beast into the 13's so we can have a new 3.4 power adder king!!!

Wow Tiago-
I hate you

98 mph traps on only 6 psi.
I can't wait till you get your fuel pump and start boostin 12 lbs.

March needs to come quicker, I need to start on my turbo :(

I still hate you ;)

Nice trap speeds though, esp. you 1/8 ET.

Bryan Spilner did it. If Bryan Spilner can blow the welds im sure Tiago can too.
