  • How much heavier is a convert?

What do you think I would run? I have a 2001 Cam convert 3.8, 3.42 gears, air induction, K&N, . I think the converts are a little heavier than coupes. How much heavier?

Not enough to matter: mid to low 15s most likely. You will probably be at 15.1, 15.2 maybe with exhaust and a couple more intake mods (just a very educated guess, based on what everyone on this board that I've seen run with 3.42s and those mods)

I've always heard that the verts are a fair amount heavier and won't run what the coupes do.
