Wow.
I really need to drive down to HRP. Maybe when Silver00 gets his bird back he will be dying to go back(LS1 swap). HRP is hands down the best track in the country. I have been to Englishtown, in New Jersey and its pretty damn good too but there is something special about this track when most of the 6'ers are running mid 14's. I want to see that car run 13's with that cam, I know it can. Must be nice. Sounds real good.
If you are pinging/detonating up you might want to try adding fuel with your MAF-T, keep adding until the car slows down. If you Autotap, you ~might see that you are running too lean and/or your stock injectors are maxed out. I think that the injectors are not maxed out, but I'd get the 02's in the 850-900 range but I would just try some runs adding fuel.98 Pontiac Formula
10.3@136 | 1.58 | 3450 Raceweight

Very impressive times.
I find it amazing that you cut such a great 60' from brake torquing the car to 3000 rpm's...
Your not really using the verter's to its true potential.. you really need to FLASH it and flash it HARD to really get your 60's down there..
Brake torque to 1300 or so.. then at the same time let off the brake and hit the gas as hard as you can.. if you dead hook you should cut some great 60's... If you are cutting the same 60's no matter what you do you may have some traction issues or your operating temps may be very high thus pulling timing.
My car is NIGHT and day difference when I dead hook from launchin at 3K rpm's vs flashing it from 1300 rpm's.. NIGHT and DAY difference.
I'll update the page probably monday. not all converters like to be flashed, my dad had one in his racecar that if you flashed it, it just slowed down the more you lowered starting line RPM's, the higher it would stall the faster the car would run...this was on a mid 8 second car too...Black 1998 Pontiac Firebird A-4 swap
271.4rwhp/259.4rwtq NA
13.30@102.44
www.freewebs.com/wickedsix98
