jason--i don't mean to diss your time at all nor chris's time in this statement, HOWEVER, how the hell did you manage to run a 14.6 without any extensive modding at all? that time just seems far too good with your mods. NO offense intended and that time is wonderful regardless of your mods. damn you houston guys, making me want to go to hrp...i should have gone last night!!!

btw--what was jeff running last night? i am curious cause he has about the same mods as me, so i like to compare the best i can :D

Congrats on the time, that is a very impressive time considering you only have a few intake and exhaust mods!

*shrugs* my 60ft's are still better, i have 10 degrees of knock, and i'm not at the "heaven of all tracks" at hrp.

also, jeff's car ran about that with the stock verter, correct? and now with the 3500 stall his times aren't but about a tenth better on the 60ft's, are they? and about 2 tenths better overall, right? my car went 4 tenths better with the converter on, and that was with wheel hop.

                      so what are you saying?

doesn't matter that his times are faster than me, you can't really know how your car would perform in different areas so you can't really say one is "faster" than the other unless you line them both up, side to side. until then, i am not going to say his car is faster, or slower.

the same night a stock auto ls1 ran a 13.00, that's pretty uncommon for stock ls1 auto's, so it's obvious at hrp one will run better than elsewhere. i mean, if it weren't, then why the hell else would ya'll always be saying "hrp owns" ?????

I agree... his DEE TB spacer and 3 inch cat make him 0.6s and 2mph faster than me at Temple. I think I should check out HRP. And maybe get rid of the old Eagle GA's ;)

jesus here it goes again with evan. the answers to all your questions...

who is stopping yall from coming to HRP?

jeff ran 14.8 on stock converter

if a car posts a timeslip with a lower time... common sense would tell you that car is faster, you cant argue with that. but im sure thats not gonna stop you from trying

and i was joking about all that. i know your car should do better then a 14.6 in theory if you can ever learn to drive it. STOP GETTING SO DAMN DEFENSIVE ALL THE TIME! calm down dude not everything everyone says is a personal attack at you. go re-read my comments on that other thread where you did the same thing. i think im just gonna stop posting anything on any thread that you might read or post on... because anything i say will prolly offend you and youll flip out again. go take a paxil, calm down.

i dunno, i take **** from quite a few people all the time saying how much edge converters suck and how much i suck cause i wanted to be different and get a high stall and so now everyone wants to shoot me down when my times aren't 12.1 or some crazy crap like that. it's not that i'm necessarily trying to be defensive, but some people have really lately just been trying to instigate this whole thing about "evan's car is slow let's make fun of him" and i get the blame for it because i come out saying i think it's dumb that people are making fun of me. something also causes defensiveness, and it is NOT always necessarily something that is on the surface. if you look deeper, you'll see and know of all the people that like to make fun of me. THAT is why i get defensive, not because of your posts in general.

                            also--

jeff ran a 14.8 on stock verter, and a 14.6 on PI converter. that's a .2 second gain.

                            i ran a 15.4 on stock verter, and a 14.98 on edge converter. that's a .4 second difference.

and i still disagree with the faster time/faster car theory. certain conditions make certain cars go certain speeds. kind of like the whole "in a vacuum" theory. unless we are both at the same track, at the same time, in identical lanes (conditions), then time means **** when saying who is faster. i dunno how his car would be any quicker than matt's car? "it's a strong one" isn't a feasible argument either. jeff ran a 14.8 with stock converter and next-to-nothing mods--was his car a strong one as well? what are the odds that 2 strong ones end up at the same track running next to the same times? i just don't buy that. hrp is a good track, i agree. but because it's a good track, i think anyone with my mods running there would run much better times. but, i'm not there, and don't have any intentions to go there anytime soon. when and if i do, this will all be proved--and i hope you, jeff, AND jason can all be there so we can really see how much slower my car is than ya'lls. unless that happens, i don't see how you can say one car is faster than the other.

surely there is someone else out there that believes the same as me, that time does not necessarily mean quicker?
