Hey... don't bring me into this ;)

He has a few more mods than me, probably can drive it a little better, and was running at a faster track. I don't think I'd get 14.6s at HRP anyway. It would be nice if I was wrong.

BTW, nothing is stopping me from going to HRP. I was probably gonna go after I get back for Christmas break.

evan... you have to be kidding me, you arent trying to prove this timeslips are bull**** idea that you thought up are you...? tell me what the f*ck is the point of handing out slips then dumbas*? if they only pertain to that day at that track. why does this site have a f*cking timeslip page evan? why are their drag racing records? if they only pertain to one day and one track? you HAVE to base it on something and the best way people have figured out is by recording time down on a peice of paper and compare it. so is your car as fast as keith's or james' too?

Actually, in all honestly your piece of paper does mean on that day at that time. That's why they put the track name, date and time on it

well, i dunno, it just doesn't make sense that one car will run time A and then another car with the same mods will run time B, and they aren't in the same conditions. conditions mean a lot. i just don't see how you can prove this wrong. i mean, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but this just doesn't make sense.

Lets get soemthing clear here. Timeslip is ultimate measure of faster or slower. I could beat an ls1 soemtime on a race if he cant get traction or soemthing, but what would his best timeslip be? a 13 or so, mine? 15. So am I faster cause i beat him one time? HELL NO. Timeslip represents your best effort,so evan, you need to stop talking the talk and start running .1 better than a POS like mine with a 2.23 60 ft. Jasons car was runnig damn good that night. He went to the track and ran a best. Ok so conditions were optimal, why dont you start seeing when conditions are really good and go run. Oh wait, maybe your tires wont hook....oh that doesent count. Maybe you have knock, that doesent count. All i know is a timeslip is all that actually means anything. These boys are ripping. I need to catch up too, and although I always tell all the auto boys that ill catch up once I get this clutch in, or some suspension, or whatever, Ill openly admit that they are all much faster than my car. At least I have my dyno graph, of course that isnt worth anything either. Maybe we should just all admit you are the God of V6 fbodies and we should never dare compare ourselves with your torque monster, ruthless convertered miracle machine. That said dont be getting all pissy...

                    guess not

Nate's times are not uncommon at all for an 01-02 LS1. He also has a WS6, which has the near equivalent of almost any aftermarket catback system on the market. He is just a good driver at a good track. But I guess his car is not fast because he chooses to run at the best track possible to have the best time for his car. I think from now on everyone should be required to run at Temple so we can all have the worst timeslips and then duke it out from there.

I have a friend local also. Has had 2 different 01 Formula A4 cars, non WS6. Stock the 1st one ran a 13.1 @ 107 mph on a 2.1 60' and the 2nd one stock ran a 13.06 @ 107.6 mph on a 2.0 60'. Those runs were at RCR, and he is a good driver. But again, not a Temple run, so they must be tossed into the toilet.

BTW, what I posted is not taking away from Nate's times at all. Like I said, they are not uncommon, he just has a very strong car, and is a good driver at a good track. PERIOD (.)

If u are complaining about traction and knock well get this i had anywhere from 3-7 degrees of knock and i was spinning when i ran my 14.34 with a 1.866 60 foot so there there are no excuses in racing just better drivers.

he just admitted exactly what i was trying to prove!!! but ross said that a faster time means a faster car, yet scott says a faster time means squat when comparing a time at hrp and a time at temple? hmm, didn't i say something about conditions being a huge factor? but OH NOOOO, i think it was stated something like:
