    Stock, you are a f*cking a$$h*le!!

He's looking for help.. be supportive or get the h*ll out eh?

Anyways, godsmack.. try revving at the 2nd yellow and drop the clutch really fast. Don't worry about red lighting or bad reaction times, it doesn't matter until you're bracket racing.

Have you tuned the car lately? plugs, wires etc...?

If there's any way to lose the 18" wheels for track day in favour of some 16" wheels, it might put you in line with other similarly modded cars on the board.

Remember many of us got worse than 16,4 our first time out.

Don't listen to the unsupportive jacka$$e$. MOST of us are here to help!

Hehe it was a joke! Simma. But could someone be mad that someone elses 3.4 runs the same times as their 3.8? I think so! ;) :D

          jsut getting a feel, i hit a 16.4 in a 3.8L 5-speed, and later hit a 15.8. Everyone starts somewhere...

first off, ignore the light, the 1.4 mile time clock does not start till your car moves that is what tyhe R/T time is that is your reaction time.

you do not want your tires to spin, maybe be better to featerh clutch out sort of , and keep the rpms low, It hink at this point your woudl rather have the car bog then spin as much as you are. You need to learn to get to the launch point of bogggin the car down, and spinning it.

do not drop the clutch let it out slowly as you add power to it.

if you dropped your 60' to like a 2.5(Tiagos territory ;) ) which is still considered not a bad launch, but would probable put your car to a 15.7, and maybe even drop your 60" down to a 2.2 it hink that is normal for 3.8ls maybe get you to a 15.4.

When you get up to the line drive around the water, light up the tires for a quick spin, to clean off the junk, some say no need to on street tires, but with cleaning off junk and getting a little heat in the tires helps my launch. Also maybe deflate the Rear tires 6-8 psi lower then what you run on the streets, not sure if you want to go any lower then that with your 18s.

And practice, i think I took .5 a second off my times just going to the track practicing, no mods.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Do our cars have a rev limiter, and if so can i just not let off the gas to shift. That might help. Also, if i rev it to 1500, then do i just like dump the clutch (meaning just let it off In one quick motion) or should i ease out of it, not slowly but slower than dumping it.

I think you want to rev until 1500 and then ease out of it, but farily quickly, while adding gas. Thats the whole trick to an m5 launch is keeping the clutch and gas just right so you don't spin, but you don't bog down. Its just a practice thing. Yes your car does have a rev limiter.
