    First time out a success!!!

    went tonight, wed. the 11th not very busy ran 13 runs, tried a few different things stalling flashing cutout open and closed... heres the best time slip...

    reaction- 0.5693
    60ft. --- 2.2836
    330ft --- 6.2950
    1/8th ET- 9.6049
    1/8th MPH 74.66
    1000 ET - 12.4760
    1000 MPH- NONE
    1/4 ET -- 14.9200
    1/4 MPH - 92.36

    the best 60ft. was around a 2.25xx, i figure that its mostly because of the cutout being open and losing some low end torque... with the cutout closed 60ft. dropped to 2.20xx but ET went up to 15.2xx so i kept it open most of the time... after the torque converter gets put in those 60ft. times will fall and fall fast, oh yeah and this is on the crappy eagle GA's hopefully getting new tires soon too... that will help... any feedback welcome and i'm gonna get it scanned in and submit it soon...

    Details for 12sec
    mods, whisperer lid, cutout, lca's, free air mods,
    gears, 3.42's/LSD
    converter, stock

    and the times that were flashed were about 2 tenths slower and 60ft.s were 2.3xxx stalled it up to 1500 and punched it... the rest of the stalled runs were very consistant between 14.9200 - 15.0700...

    Converter?
    Gears?
    List all the times so we can see the diff between flashing and stalling, cut out open or closed.

    As long as YOU are happy then that is all that counts

        How much gas do you run with?
        Any runs where you just punched it from idle rpm?
        How much do you spin?

          I'm by no means a drag race expert, I've only been once. But did you try launching any harder w/ the cut out open? That .1 your losing on the 60' could be worth a good bit for you overall ET.

          I like your mph. I also like your mods, it gives me hope that my 'maro could go into the 14s.

                congrats.
                i have never done more than 3 maybe 4 runs in one night. i have babied my car at the track i quess.

                i got mine at alamo, the crappiest track in san anto and i got a 14 in temple somehow. that track sucked when i was there!
                6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

                  are you sure the timer doesn't have a slow start? Then it pads your MPH up just like a G-tech. That's the only way to explain this blasphemy! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

                    1/2 tank of gas... i did a few times from idle yeilded 2.3xx 60ft. and 15.2xx ET's, not much spin, i did a little burn out before each run to get the crap off the tires and keep them warm...

                    seppo on each run and the one with the best ET i stalled it to 1500, that seemed to work best for my car
