  • broke 3.4L record last night.... by a decent amount.

had my EGR problems, misfire due to bad EGR, SES light going off down the runs , intake leak...

    AND I DESTROYED IT!

the 3.4L N/A record that is.....

    15.456@86.82 [[Fluffy]]

Amazing I thought car was running like crap but still pulled some strong times I got some decent launches out of it. I remember waay back when I was running 16.8s... thinking that 15s would be unattainable. Now I am working on low 15s.

    full run was
    R/t 0.7
    7460' 2.027(New Best)
    330' 6.274(New Best)
    1/8 9.816(New Best)
    mph 69.63
    1000 12.864(NewBest)
    1/4 15.456(New Best)
    mph 86.82

this was on street tires... Balding Cooper cobras, 235s

I have full interior, except the jack and spare, all susspension compnents accounted for, air filter attached(actually very dirty)

My first run of the night was a 15.7 think I lost the slip...

    my second run

    R/t 0.632
    60' 2.062
    330' 6.363
    1/8 9.912
    mph 69.42
    1000 12.966
    1/4 15.555
    mph 86.96

3rd run was my best run.

    4th run

    r/t .743
    60' 2.089
    330 6.373
    1/8 9.932
    mph 69.62
    1000 12.996
    1/4 15.593
    mph 86.78

5th run was a 15.732@86.24 I will post it if anyone really wants it.

All this with stock heads, stock cam, stock exahsut manifolds, stock TB all with 121,901 miles on it as of now.

And I thought the car was running crappy...

wasn't even that great maybe 72... rained roughly 2-3 days earlier, and the track is about 10 miles from a big stretch of swamp land so humidity lingers for a few days.

i will admit track prep was the best i have ever have... that track usually sucks.

I also forgot to mention stock programming... I am trying to look into something I can do about that.
