Too bad its gonna be really hard to break the 3.4l record...I think its like 12.8 with nitrous.

Thats cool though for a 3.4 NA good stuff.

hehe that hwat drining will do.

most important thing to add is I had a race weight of 3140.... thats my lightest ever, I still had ful interior and full suspension, only weight reduction was my jack and spare.

I think the 3.4L power-adder record is closer to a 13.9....unless someone broke 'So Slow's' record, of course!

                  I COMPLETELY agree!!!

Either come out with the truth and help the community or be gone with ya!!! This isn't street racing USA.. we don't run a no times timeslips page...

Secrecy has no place on this forum imho. We are here to help, not to leech info for our own personal gain and then take it elsewhere.

He's afraid that to many people would call BS on him, he doesn't really care. He feels that if he did come out and tell everyone then his email would be so flooded with ?'s, BS flags, and such that he would have to shut it down. he's moving on to his new engine which is a V8, with some crazy things done to it. I have seen the timeslip, and the modification list. I'm trying to get him to come out and tell you who and what and where and how and stuff, its just not that easy. I think I've said to much as it is

                      Lamest excuse EVER.

If someone ran faster than I and didn't post about it here and didn't submit their timeslip.. i would be VERY pissed.. That is plain CRAP if you ask me.

SO many of us work so hard on our cars, spend lots of time doing research and mods.. and some silent bob is going to break the record and not tel anybody about it?

Yea, thats what we need.. Thats exactly what the V6 community needs..

There was a 3.4 V6 that claimed 15.2@9x NA.. He was not known to anybody here.. came out of nowhere and got pissed at me cause I wouldn't post his times... How am I supposed to know he isn't bs'ing?? Just because he is an older gentlemen with a family doesn't mean its credible. I put a LOT of time into screening of timeslip submissions.. I try not to let any slip by which meens i screan carefully.

If "this guy" really did breakt he reacord and isn't well known, well duh we're going to need proof.. but if he's a regular and I trust him like MustangEater8251 then I'll support him..

Most of you don't know but I keep track of you guys. ;) I have logs of all your bests, when you broke them and where.. I know when somebody works their way down from low 15's to high 14's to mid 14's NA.. but some guy out of nowhere claiming to run a record needs to have backup of he wants his slip up on the page.

and fwiw.. 13.9 is so VERY EASY to beat in a 3.4. Nobody is trying though.

If SixVi6 ever went back to the track with a posi and drag wheels i bet he could hit 13.8.. he ran 14.4 on a 75 shot with an open rear end on 19's.

I beleive its very attainable.... to run a 12.8 in a 3.4L even further down then that...there are many 300+ hp 60* gm v6s... jsut not in 4t gen f-bodies...

Funny I wasn't really aiming for the record till I got within 2/10ths of it, before I never thought I had the funds or chance to break it.

                          by the way...

I made my car pretty fast for a 3.4L pretty affordable and have only recieved 2-3 e-mails about it, posted on 3 boards...

I'm sure someone has broken 12s somewhere in the world in a 3.4. Not everyone that is into modding v6 fbodys, post on this site. A friend of mind had a neighbor that had a very modded 3.4 and he said it ran 12s. (I never got to talk to him in person because he moved away.) I started to believe it though when i went to the track once and they asked me to pop my hood at tech cause the previous week there was a v6 black camaro like mine, that was running 13s on nitrous. So there are probably quicker 3.4s out there...just not known.

There are many fast V6'ers out there that just don't know of this site, or we just don't know who they are..

That's why you have to get their info and let them know about this place. I know Shirl has done this several times with stock elim cars.

I always keep my eyes peeled.
