Tonight was my first time ever at a track and I'm glad I went by myself. 6 cars and 6 losses. 2 Modded Cobras, Modded CRX, Modded Civic, and a Focus (exhaust looked stock). I almost had the focus but my ^#@$%& non LSD car spun like crazy.

Something happened in the last two runs and i didn't get slips. I powershifted against the Focus and that made my tires spin not chirp but spin. I've got Pirelli P4000's all around and in good condition. Tire pressure was 35lbs(I think that probably hurt me). I had all my gear (Two 8" subs w/box, my backpack w/all my books is about 40lbs, jack and spare) in the car. I think I'm in the same boat as Tiago("Whats this traction you speak of, introduce me"). My tires just wouldn't hook up. I lit 'em up in the burnout box and then I would drop the clutch at about 2k off the line. I either spun 'em or bogged down. After reading MustangEater's times I feel super slow. Any suggestions on what I could to improve my times. I know weight is a problem(but how much will that gain me?), but what else? I don't think a Short Throw Shifter would anything cuz I'm shifting as fast as my foot can push the clutch and release it.
