  • Save 64lbs of weight.

Here guys, I found that you can shave off 64lbs of weight by replacing your windows with polycaronate windows. Not sure if anyone has done this yet. Jeg's sells Percy's that has some for our cars. Camaro/Firebird Complete set part # 760-01146-2 $1089.99 :D

I would replace the back window in a heartbeat.
But not for that amount of money.

Yes, should be street legal. The set and part # I posted was for a SET to replace all the windows. You can replace just the back one. I think it's about 300 some bucks. Not bad, close to the cost of regular glass. :D

I was under the impression that they were not street legal (but I will stand to be corrected).

For those of you that are curious:

                              Percy's page

You can buy just the front windshield for $400, and it says nothing about strip use only.
