Help me find 1/4 mile times by converting 1/8 mile times
Help me find 1/4 mile times by converting 1/8 mile times
I have a 94 3.4 A4 camaro with a K&N FIPK, 2.5 inch flowmaster catback, and a B&M Shift +. Just wondering what times you guys think I would hit in the 1/4. I ran a 10.602 in the 1/8, just dont really know how to convert that considering that my car falls on its face after that. And also, how much would LSD/AL DS/nitrous (5175 probably) help me?

It's impossible to convert from 1/8th to 1/4 and be exact. Especially in the 3.4 considering our top end sucks so bad. I had a 9.9 1/8th mile time which is supposed to translate out to a 15.4 or so, but I ran a 15.8 in that run so go figure. I'd say you'd run a mid 16.
When I was running 10.6 1/8ths with my near stock 3.8, I was finishing at 16.4-16.5
Hope that gives you an idea... could be mid to high 16's..?

With that formula it said I ran a 15.411.
with my 9.816 1/8th mile I had when i ran a 15.456
I guess its decently accurate... since my car suffers the same topend woes.. as most 3.4Ls, maybe add a 1/10th since I had lost some bottom end ot gain that top end.
