well after reading that article in GMHTP, i had to order the same setup. i got 15x8 telstar's for the rear and 15x4 telstars for the front.
the rear wheels are running bfg's 275/50/15 and the front are the mickey thompson 26x7.5 skinnies. this together is 40lbs of reducing rotational mass..
i have a YANK 3000 stall converter with a 2.1 str. and it's 97%efficient. i'm finally going to be able to put the conveter to the test. so do i just spin these tires till they smoke up and get all sticky?.
i'm also running a 100 shot next week and i want to spray out the hole. don't get me wrong i hit the track, but with this new setup i want all the advice i can get.
i have run nitto's before, is there anything different with these 2 tires. i think a 275 should hold my converter and juice to the ground..
p.s i'm hoping to come home witha 12second timeslip :D
