I always go to either RCR or Temple, just depending on how far I feel like driving and what day I decide to go. I was just in SA to have the gears installed, and pick up the bumper. I want to go down on a Weds. to the track. We should pick a date and meet.

...must be a track thing? I had traction problems in the colder weather with my 3.08's :(

They have about 50% tread left on them.
The track I was at is known for not having the greatest traction which is why i mentioned Only4U's point must have something to do with the track they're talking about.
Only the plus side, only ONE of my tires spins ;)

lol, i wasn't aware of my drag radials being rented out???

get a converter, you can borrow the DR's for a run or two, then i'll make you buy your own, cause that's a LOT of abuse

Dude I couldn't even hook (2.35 60 ft) with my 3.08's and battery right over the non open wheel in the back. I don't think steeper gearing is going to help me any.
Sam
I will have DR's ;)

...that said, you probably wont' hook with the new setup on a track you couldn't hook on with 3.08's open
Get those slicks..
And good luck!

xjarayax I have a question for you: what did the Y87 programming do besides make your speedo work right? Anything?

Whoa, didn't even think of that. Damn, my car probably isn't running right at all, hardly configured for racing.
I think maybe you might run a 15.1, 15.2 btw, perhaps even touch high 14s

I dunno about everyone else, but I seem to hook as well with my LSD as I did with the open one...except now it hooks harder, more, and knocks off a tenth or so from what my old 60' times were. When did a LSD become a disadvantage like a few of you are talking about????

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
